My approach to solving design problems
Focused on understanding goals, users, and challenges to shape clear direction and meaningful outcomes.
1. Discovery & Strategy
Understand the problem space by identifying user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. I gather insights through interviews, research, and competitive analysis, and define the product direction and success criteria.
2. Ideation
Explore potential solutions and product directions.
I map user flows, define features, and rapidly explore concepts using AI-assisted ideation tools to generate and iterate on design approaches.
3. Design
Translate ideas into tangible solutions. I create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces, leveraging AI tools to accelerate layout exploration while refining usability, interaction, and visual design.
4. Testing
Validate the design with users, devs, stakeholders and designers through usability tests, collecting feedback to refine the experience.
5. Implementation
Bring the product to life by collaborating closely with development workflows. I use AI coding tools and modern development environments to prototype and implement interfaces, manage repositories with GitHub, and integrate APIs when needed.

About me
I’m Nacho Munarriz, a Senior Product Designer with over 5 years of experience creating digital products that users genuinely enjoy. My approach blends strategic thinking with strong visual design and systems thinking to solve complex problems.
Recently, I founded and shipped Intora, an iOS app for food transparency, leading the product end-to-end using AI-assisted workflows and real-world API integrations.
Before product design, I built a background in Graphic Design and worked as a freelance designer across industries, helping brands communicate through visual storytelling. I also developed my own illustration practice, selling work across shops, galleries, and institutions.
